Jennifer Rangel Stagen

Jennifer Rangel Stagen is a skilled attorney with both litigation and appellate experience.  She brings substantial pretrial, trial, and litigation counseling experience to her appellate practice.  For example, she has represented investment firms and clearing firms in all phases of securities litigation and has also defended corporate officers against insider trading allegations and security fraud claims brought as class actions.  She has handled numerous summary judgment and other dispositive motions for clients, and prepared and presented arguments at critical pretrial proceedings.  Jennifer has represented clients before multiple Texas appellate courts and has participated in appeals before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Before joining Hankinson Levinger, Jennifer was a partner at a highly regarded regional law firm where her clients included major corporations, regional companies, law firms, and individuals.  She has represented clients operating in numerous industries, including securities, retail, manufacturing, telecommunications, and oil and gas.  Jennifer is a 1997 graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree with high honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1993.
