Katherine Warner Ross

Katherine Warner Ross practices trial and appellate law.  She has over ten years of experience in complex commercial litigation, handling all aspects of litigation for a wide range of commercial clients in both state and federal court.  Her clientele extends from Fortune 500 companies to solely-owned proprietorships, including major chemical and petrochemical corporations, a professional sports association, a fast food franchisor, various retailers and financial institutions, limited liability holding companies and trusts.  She has litigated a variety of commercial disputes, including those centered around intellectual property, franchise, anti-trust, bankruptcy, lender liability, products liability, domain name disputes, contract and insurance claims.  She has also counseled clients on a range of issues in the emerging technology law field.

After graduating from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts in 1986 with degrees in English and Theatre, Katherine worked as a professional photographer and producer/editor of industrial videos and commercial advertisements.  She later attended the Dedman School of Law at Southern Methodist University, graduating cum laude in 1993.  While at SMU, she was a Citation Editor for the SMU Law Review Association.  She began her legal career in 1993 as a litigation associate at the Dallas office of Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue.  In 1997, she became a litigation associate at Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, L.L.P. in Dallas and was made counsel there in 1998.  Prior to Hankinson Levinger LLP, she was Of Counsel with the Law Offices of Deborah Hankinson PC.
